Melanie Windl is a Germany based artist working in the field of audiovisual installations. In her work she explores the spatial dimensions of space, object and sound. Windl merges these three layers to large scale environments. The artist accumulates simple objects like plastic spheres to biomorphic structures which house groups of loudspeakers for multichannel audio compositions. Windl records her own sound creations and field-recordings and combines them to atmospheric sonic compositions. During her stay at the Titanik A.i.R program Windl will work on a new installation to be exhibited at Gallery Titanik from 23th to 31th March 2015.
