Luka Ivanovic aka Lukatoyboy, is a sound artist from Belgrade, Serbia.
His current practice is based on participatory performances based on networks, sound and narrative, using walkie-talkies and site specific topics.
Focused on the relation of chances and structures, he creates participatory works with suggested rules, questioning exclusivity and authority of an artist.
While being an AIR at Titanik, he will create a new work based on his interest in the logistics and serendipity of ephemeral, while researching the concept of the “half-sound”.

Lukatoyboy – Outing, for 12-16 2 way radios/walkie-talkies, 30′
Lukatoyboy’s Outing deals with sounds transmitted not from far away, but their origin still invisible.
Its spatially arranged setup of a dozen of walkie-talkies acting as multi-channel speakers enables a subtle, real-time distribution of performed and found sounds from the world outside.
This way, Outing creates an always diifferent localisation of space and time intersections.
Please remain seated.
Silence is precious.
