NÄYTTELYHAKU
Titanik-gallerian syksyn 2013 teemana on MUUTOS.
Haemme Titanik-galleriaan teemaan liittyviä näyttely- ja projektiehdotuksia keväälle 2013.
Teemaa voi tulkita laajasti, mutta odotamme, että se on huomioitu hakemuksessa. Haussa on
näyttelyaikoja heinäkuusta vuoden 2013 loppuun. Hakemukset tulee lähettää la 15.9.2012 mennessä
joko postitse (postileima riittää) tai sähköisesti.
Valituista näyttelyistä kootaan julkaisu, jossa teemaa käsitellään laajemmin. Julkaisuun
osallistuu myös ulkopuolisia kirjoittajia. Aikaisemmat julkaisut ovat saatavissa gallerialta
tai luettavissa osoitteessa: http://www.titanik.fi/
Titanik-gallerian näyttelytila on n. 100 m²: 3 huonetta, korkeus 2,3–2,6 m
Hakemukseen tulee liittää mukaan:
- näyttelysuunnitelma tai idealuonnoksia
- kuvamateriaalia näyttelyyn tulevista ja/tai aikaisemmista teoksista:
A4-portfolio, CD tai DVD (Huomioi Mac- ja PC-yhteensopivuus)
- ansioluettelo
Jos haluat, että lähettämäsi materiaali palautetaan, liitä mukaan palautuskuori osoitetietoineen
ja postimerkkeineen.
Näyttelytilan vuokra neljältä viikolta on 1200 euroa. Olemme luopuneet kutsujen painattamisesta.
Näyttelykohtainen tiedotus hoidetaan sähköisesti ja Titanik -julkaisulla. Valitut taiteilijat
osallistuvat 300 eurolla julkaisun painatuskuluihin. Mahdollisten julisteiden ja muun painetun
tiedotusmateriaalin levitys hoituu gallerian puolesta Turun kaupungin alueella.
Painatuskustannuksista vastaa taiteilija.
Näyttelyt valitsee Titanik-gallerian galleriatoimikunta. Hakijoille ilmoitetaan päätöksestä
henkilökohtaisesti viimeistään pe 21.9.2012.

In Fall 2013 the theme of Titanik Gallery's exhibition is CHANGE.
We are looking for exhibitions and project proposals under the theme "change". The theme can be
approached in a very broad concept, as long as it is taken into account somehow in the application.
The first available exhibition slot is in July 2013 and they run until December 2012. Deadline for
applications is 15th September 2012 regardless of whether you send your application by email or post.
Titanik Gallery's exhibition space is ~100 m², 3 rooms, height 2,3 - 2,6 m

The theme "change" as well as all the exhibitions are discussed in a bi-annual publication of
Titanik Gallery. The artists themselves, along with guest writers will approach the theme.
The publication reaches a vast amount of crucial Finnish art institutions as well as art
professionals in Finland and abroad. Please download the previous publications as a
pdf-file from here: http://www.titanik.fi/.
The rent of the gallery for three to four weeks is 1200 euros. Additionally, there is
a compulsory 300 euros printing cost of the publication. Besides the publication,
Titanik Gallery does not use printed promotion materials but instead advertises the exhibitions
in various online media. If you wish to print posters, Titanik staff will deliver them around
Turku city. However, the printing costs are on artist him/herself.
In case you want your application to be returned, please add a return envelope with a stamp.
The exhibitions are chosen by the Titanik Gallery's gallery committee. Applicants will
be notified of the decision in person by 21st September 2012.
